Filtration
Flue gas filter
They can filter flue gases at temperatures between 100 °C and 250 °C in standard industrial applications, in exceptional cases even higher: up to 600 °C with dedicated filter elements.
Flue gas filters or filters for increased temperatures are used for efficient separation of small solid particles after combustion in thermal power plants, furnaces and boilers.
This increases care for the environment, because the emissions meet the requirements of legal regulations.

Bio-Brennstoff GmbH
Facility: Reaction cooling and flue gas filtration unit
For the company Bio-Brennstoff GmbH, a part of the Baumit GmbH concern, we designed, manufactured and installed a device for the cleaning of hot flue gases produced during the gasification of biomass and waste. The device consists of two parts: a reaction cooling tower and a bag filter. In the reaction cooling section, slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) and activated carbon are used to remove flue gas components chemically and physically. Components are sulfur oxides, hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acid, heavy metals and larger dust particles. The remaining smaller, health-threatening solid particles are eliminated in the filtration part. Both flue gas cleaning units were made as a compact form in a common collection funnel with screw transport of the collected hazardous material. We installed the facility in Austria.
Gorenje Količevo
Facility: hot flue gas filter
As part of a new cogeneration plant on wood chips installation at the Količevo Karton facility, we designed, planned in detail, produced, installed and started a customized hot flue gas filter. The two-chamber filter, 10 meters high, 5 meters wide and 8 meters long, is installed as an independent unit for reducing emissions of solid particles in flue gases up to 180oC. The filter is bag version with pneumatic bag regeneration. The project was implemented according to the “turnkey” system.
